BestSync is a program to synchronize folders. The program starts with a wizard interface that can be quite annoying if you are looking for a quick sync. It asks you to select whether or not to backup the existing files and folders, lets you specify files or folders to exclude/include in the synchronization, use filters, etc. Many settings, like the encryption of files, make the program very good, but they also can be confusing for the novice users.
The program looks nice. The main window shows the task list. “New project” brings out the wizard to set the different synchronization options. I was trying to copy my documents to the another disk and I had to browse twelve pages to set all the options. Anyway, if you are looking for a quick sync, just select the default values. The “general options” can be used to customize some default settings.
This version has a lot of improvements: FTP server synchronization is available with encryption and compression features. Emails, contacts, etc., can be synced with MS Outlook. One license for version 4.2 can be activated in five computers.
I liked the program because it has a lot of settings that are very useful.
